Whoa...
So I'm watching last night's Survivor right now. I love Boston Rob. He's an absolute genius. Crazy stuff...So this week has been really long, and its still not over! I had a test in Brit Lit today. I came out of that test completely brain dead. It's not that it was hard, it was just more detailed than I was expecting. Tests never take me that long to complete. I get a little bit of test anxiety and then I was irritated after the test because of the time it took to complete. I still wasn't finished when the bell rang and that was not a good feeling. Today has really just been one of those days I suppose. Swim practice in the bitter cold/wind tonight and then a full day of school tomorrow. Weekend here I come!

Weekend Update
Look at me and my bad self. Taking a picture of myself while driving, rocking my awesome new red lipstick.
Haha, so this weekend has been pretty good. I got to spend some time with a friend, went to church, volunteered at church, had a guitar lesson and dealt with seven to eight teenage boys. I, thankfully, have the day off tomorrow, so I'll be going to swim practice early and then maybe going to see I am Number Four later in the afternoon. I just have to find someone to go with me.
I love the sky here in our cute little desert. The clouds are so awesome.
Currently, I have the soundtrack to Wicked stuck in my head. I mentioned before that my mom and I are going to see it in March, and in preparation, I've been listening to the soundtrack. Unfortunately, its still a little early to be getting psyched for that, but I can't help it. I have so much to look forward to! I'm going to go watch Easy A with my mom, so have a good rest of the night, and enjoy tomorrow, whether you have it off or not!

Hello Again
So far, today has been a good day. I'm on track to be a distinguished scholar, I got an A on my government test today and I'm watching last night's episode of Survivor. My family has been watching Survivor since Season 1. I'm a little bummed that they moved to Wednesday nights because now I can't watch with my family. I do, however, love the fact that I can watch it commercial free online the next day. You win some, you lose some. This season looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. Two former players have come to play again and there's a new twist on the game. Of course, there's some really annoying people, but it wouldn't be Survivor without them.
Later, I have swim practice, which will not be fun. One of the heaters in the pool is broken and the covers haven't been able to go on because of our crazy desert wind. The water is ridiculously cold. The air is ridiculously cold. The wind is ridiculously cold. So, as you can tell, it will be a cold night. Thank goodness for hot showers.

How Should I Say This?
So, it's Valentine's Day. I, myself, have mixed feelings about this particular holiday, and today did not improve those feelings. It has been a long, rather disappointing day. I wasn't expecting anything from anyone, but my teachers must have all had a meeting to decide to make today extra horrible. I got a project to do in every class and the work load is getting ridiculous. I'll get through it though. I have my job interview and swim practice yet this afternoon and then I have to get started on the mountain of work I got today. Hopefully this week will get better rather than worse. Sorry for the downer post on a happy holiday. I do love blogging and I love all my readers, however few they may be. Enjoy today and if you don't have a significant other, make today about loving you, or your friends or your family.

I'm Excited About...
Today, Danielle at Sometimes Sweet did a post on what she's excited about that included an ADORABLE video of her son Henry. This inspired me to do the same, minus the video, since it will be a few more years before I have a baby of my own. I am excited about...
-working with my wonderful 5th and 6th grade girls today
-my job interview tomorrow (pray that that goes well!)
-my school has a half day on Wednesday
-the three day weekend coming up
-seeing Wicked in March with my momma
-our family road trip to Canada this summer
-and finally, moving to New Mexico to start the next chapter of my life!
What are you guys excited about?

Thanks Mr. Lincoln
Three day weekends are the absolute best. Yesterday I slept late before I headed out to swim practice and then I relaxed the rest of the day. This morning, I cleaned a bit and then my friend Erica came over to help me bake some delicious cookies for our 5th and 6th grade girls that we work with every Sunday.
Now, I'm going out on my back patio to enjoy this unseasonably warm day and get caught up on my 100 books project. I'm falling behind. Later tonight, I have church and tomorrow is volunteering and then working on homework.

I Feel Like Garfield
First things first: Isn't this the cutest commercial ever?
Wow, what a weekend! Saturday was spent cleaning in preparation of our Superbowl party and Sunday was spent watching the big game. I'm not a fan of either team, but I didn't want Pittsburgh to win, so I'm happy with the end result. Mostly, I'm just happy that Glee came back on last night. And there's another new episode on tomorrow night! Yay! And I have no school on Friday, thanks to Mr. Lincoln. It's shaping up to be a great week.

Above all else, Jesus loves you and that will never change.
It has been such a busy week, and today is only Wednesday. I've barely been home and my cold is rearing its ugly head again. I have this huge poetry project that I've been working on, but that is over tomorrow, thank goodness. Swim season has officially begun and that goes for two hours every night. We had the last two mondays off, and this week is normal. I've got all my days mixed up now. And yet, with everything going on, this week has been pretty good. February is looking better than January. I think there were other things that I was going to post about, but I've completely lost my train of thought and my brain is overloaded with poetry crap, (I'm not fond of poetry at all), so I'll leave you in peace. Have a good rest of the week, just in case I'm unable to post before then.
