Bleh

I just realized that I never updated you guys on the status of my pool. Remember this post? Yeah, that was like forever ago. The pool has been done for a couple of weeks now, but the weather has been too bipolar for us to enjoy it. It looks nice though.

This whole week has been pretty nice, but the next two will be ridiculously crazy. I have a swim meet tomorrow, my Psych AP test on Monday, my Spanish AP test on Tuesday, my English AP test on Thursday and league finals on Thursday as well. My last AP test (government) is on the following Tuesday. And then prom is the Saturday after that. Insane, I know. After that, though, things calm down a LOT, thank goodness. I'll try to keep you guys updated about stuff over the next few weeks as my high school  career comes to a close. I will definitely be doing a huge prom post. Until then, have a nice relaxing weekend!

Happy Easter Weekend everyone! Sorry about my lack of posting recently. I've been super busy. End of the year stuff is coming up fast. The swim season is winding down, but I also finally got that job I interviewed for, so now I have work and practice and homework and sleep goes somewhere in there, I'm sure. Just typing about this stuff makes me tired. This has been a good weekend so far. Yesterday, I participated in the 30 Hour Famine with my National Honor Society. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, and I had fun last night with my fellow fasters. Last night I went to the Good Friday service at my church. It was a great time to worship and reflect on Jesus' sacrifice for me. Today, I met my friend at Denny's at 6:15 to break the fast. We made ourselves sick, but it was good. After that, I went to my school to take a practice Spanish AP test, which was also not as hard as I thought it would be. Tonight I have church with my family and tomorrow, I'm volunteering at church and then heading to my grand-parents' house for Easter celebrations. Should be fun. I hope you all have an amazing, blessed Easter! Jesus is alive!

Accomplishment

Today was successful. I completed two scholarships and am working on another one. I had my first day of work today and will continue to work Monday thru Thursday from now until the end of the school year. I am making progress on my projects and am continuing to work hard at swim. Most importantly, I only have 39 school days left until graduation. 39! It's so close, and yet it is still so far away. These last few months are going to be difficult and busy. The nice thing about this is that the time will go by faster. The bad thing? I'm going to be super burnt out. It isn't anything I can't handle, though. I am so excited for the end of the year. Starting May 14, my life will be immensely easier. May 13 is the last day of AP tests. Most of my classes will be done after that and swim will be over as well. I will have so much more time (I hope) to relax and enjoy the last few days of high school. Bring it on!
