Bittersweet

My fingers are shaking so much I can barely even type. I started guitar lessons today and I'm super stoked. I've been wanting to learn for a really long time and, well, better late then never, right? The only problem is that I had to cut my pretty, long natural fingernails, since it's hard to play with them. It will take some getting used to. I've had long fingernails as long as I can remember, so the adjustment is going to take a while. But on the bright side, I have a new guitar.

Isn't she pretty? I can't wait until I'm good enough to rock out for real!
